Community Advisory Group

CAG Meetings icon
A Community Advisory Group (CAG) will be convened to advise on project direction, needs and details. Engaging and soliciting feedback from the CAG will help to ensure that analysis and subsequent recommendations correspond to local conditions and solutions.

The project team will meet with the CAG approximately four times at key milestones to provide updates and gather feedback. CAG members will also be encouraged to promote public meetings through their individual networks.

The CAG will be composed of representatives from the local municipalities, chambers of commerce, local institutions, park and environmental organizations, and transit agencies.

CAG meeting materials will be posted on the Meeting Materials Archive page following each meeting.

Approximately four CAG meetings are anticipated. Primary meeting topics are outlined below:
CAG Meeting #1
Introduce the project, provide overview of the PEL and Phase I Preliminary Engineering process, review crash data, and gather feedback.
CAG Meeting #2
Develop the purpose and need problem statement, gather feedback, and review the agenda for the first public meeting.
CAG Meeting #3
Present preliminary alternatives, gather feedback, develop alternative review criteria, review first public meeting results, and review agenda for second public meeting.
CAG Meeting #4
Present preferred alternative, discuss public hearing, gather feedback, and outline implementation strategies.
